How to find a team to join

Finding a team is not hard, but it does require you to put in a little effort.

New Players to Competitive:

We encourage you to make a post in the websites Looking For Team (LFT) section and also post in our Discord #lft channel.

You should also contact leaders of teams who need a player. You can find them listed in the Teams Looking for Players (LFP) section and also the LFP section of our Discord #lfp channel.

Experienced Players to Competitive:

We particularly encourage you to make a thread on the RGL HL LFT forums section. This will allow you to advertise yourself to higher profile teams.

Browsing the LFP section of the forums will also present you with many teams that are looking to recruit players.

Map Pool (Ordered by Weeks)

NOTE: The latest versions of each map will be played. The map list has also been updated in the map pool and structure page.

Season 6 Whitelist

The whitelist for Season 6 can be found here. There are no weapon updates to this whitelist, but it should permit the latest cosmetics.

Invite Fees

We held a survey for Invite players to decide on what they would like to be done with the registration fees. Here are the results of that here.

It is evident that a majority of players want to retain a prize pool, so we will be continuing to do so for Season 6. Due to the range for the team fee having mixed results on the survey, we asked the Invite team leaders to vote on the two most popular options, which were the $90-99 and the $144-150 range.

  • The second range won, so team fees will be $150 per team.
  • Payment deadline will be extended to June 15th, which is the first match of the season.

The reason that it is $150 is because of the PayPal merchant account fees cutting into the prize pool. With a 7-team Invite paying (Advanced winner gets their fees waived), this will help to cover the $1,000 total prize pool.

Additionally, with the results for increasing the team fee being mixed, we do not have any immediate plans to increase it.

Advanced Qualifiers

It should be noted that we understand that players may not have had full notice that a qualifier for this division was going to occur when it was announced. Additionally, a team forming after the announcement of the article caused the details of the structure to be modified. Going forward, we will make sure that we announce the qualifiers earlier and that more communication is had to allow players to understand the dates and potential structure ahead of time.

With an Invite team disbanding during the preseason, a second slot was opened up. Congratulations to the two teams that have qualified for Advanced:

Main and Intermediate Placements

Teams that believe they belong in a higher division should be able to defeat at least half of the division above their current division OR dominate most of the top teams in their current division.

Please note that a team’s division is still subject to change as the week goes on or if a team leader can make a compelling case for being in a division. Players that leave and join new rosters during the season will also be monitored, teams with significant changes will regularly be reevaluated and placed in a division. If you believe that a team should be in a different division, you can contact us here on Discord.
