Suicide - Frankie Teardrop: this is the scariest song i've ever heard. The scarce instrumentation with the coupled with the anxious vocals from Vega (the vocalist) are frightening enough, but when Vega starts to scream, it becomes terrifying. The lyrics depict a desperate man, Frankie, who eventually kills his wife and kids out of insanity.

Also, Suicide was an insane band at concerts.

Suicide - Suicide still remains one of my favorite albums, the first time I heard Frankie Teardrop I jumped at the scream cause I had the volume so high

let's hear it for Frankie

(if anyone wants the 24bit lossless version of the original pressing of suicide - suicide add me on steam or hmu on my line, the remasters have some things changed that sound weird imo)

i have a lot of records honestly, so my personal favorite of the ones I own is more of a sentimental thing, The Umpteens - Turn Your Livingroom Into a Dance Floor, mostly because a good friend of mine showed me them and they were just some college band that happened to make an EP that I loved, and I was looking for a copy of the EP everywhere. Eventually the bassist from the band emailed me asking if I was still looking, because he had 20-30 copies of the EP in his basement, so I got my copy from him, and he even burned a CD with a bunch of rarities that no one had really heard or shared anywhere before.

For a record I love that's not so sentimental (and way weirder honestly), is sh - 深き森から, they apparently recorded this in a cabin in the forest, and that high pitch sound are cicadas chirping, if I remember correctly. Though, the video I posted really doesn't do the record itself justice, because when I play that record the entire room is immediately filled with the cicadas chirping, and the girl singing seems super distant in the background. The other cool thing about the record itself is that it has a lock-groove on the end of the first side, so the sound of the cicadas just goes on forever and I always loved that for some reason lmao

make sure you remove the spaces before the ] and after the / for these to work. Following that format should give you these below

If you're signed into spotify it should play the full song instead of just 30 seconds. Soundcloud should play full song, if it doesn't might have to be logged in.

hmm
